Innovative Tank Building System for juice storage in Brazil

The Nordweld Tank Building System was used to construct storage tanks for orange juice in Brazil. The innovative tank building system once again proved to be highly effective, even in the hot and humid climate of South America.

Our responsibility was not only to deliver the system but also to supervise the tank construction process. The use of the Nordweld system resulted in significant time and cost savings, as the construction process was completed much faster than with traditional tank construction methods

Benefits of the Nordweld system

The system enables faster construction of steel tanks without the need for cranes. With the integrated components of the system, assembly is quick and efficient, saving both time and costs. Our solution is ideal for building orange juice storage tanks and other industrial storage tanks.

Technical details concerning the realization:

• Material was fed in from coil.
• The tank is 28.3m high and 18.6m wide.
• Base material: Duplex stainless steel LDX 1.4162.
• Internal surface was grinded and polished to a maximum of 0.8a.
