The Nordweld tank building system was used to construct two large storage tanks for the renowned Brazilian orange juice producer, Citrosuco.
Each of the tanks has a diameter of 21 meters and a height of 30 meters, with a total weight of 210,000 kg. These tanks are designed to store 10,000 m³ of orange juice each, meeting the high demands of the juice production industry.
Technical details:
- Erection Time: 8 weeks
- Base Material: LDX 2101 stainless steel for enhanced durability
- Internal Surface: Polished to a maximum RA of 0.8 for smoothness and hygiene
- Shell Construction: Made from coil-fed material (less than 7mm) and flat plates (2x12m, 6mm)
- Thickness Range: From 6 to 13 mm for optimal strength and safety
- Equipment Used: Lift Jacks with wheel trolleys for efficient assembly
