Lift Jack
Lift Jacks are used to erect tanks of larger diameter when building in a top-down method. Our electromechanical jacks have a lift height of 2100 mm (Lift Jack 9T) and 2600 mm (Lift Jack 15T). The supplied lift jack is CE marked and tested with 13.5 ton (Lift Jack 9T) and 25 ton (Lift Jack 15T), 50% dynamic load (+50%).
The unique characteristics
- Lifting capacity: 9T (Lift Jack 9T) / 15T (Lift Jack 15T),
- Electrically Operated – easy to maneuver onsite both simultaneously and individually,
- Uses a smooth continuously operated lift mechanism,
- No oil spills or leakage possible when compared to hydraulic systems,
- Self-locking, which ensures the highest operator safety conditions,
- Faster Operating Times – Approx. 16 minutes to raise or lower 2100 mm (LJ 9T) / Approx. 25 minutes to raise or lower 2600 mm (LJ 15 T).
- Comes supplied with a top mounted perimeter lighting system (optional),
- Easy and quick assembly of the entire system with minimal operator effort,
- Easy to dismantle onsite. Comes supplied with a specially designed device which enables quick disassembly of the jacks after job completion,
- Lifting brackets can be welded to the shell, or build with a wheel trolley attached upon the Lift Jack (specially designed for tanks build from coil).
Product dimensions
The dimensions of the component vary depending on the version you choose. We have 2 types of Lift Jack: Lift Jack 9T and Lift Jack 15T.
Dimensions of Lift Jack 9T: 1716 mm x 3450 mm x 1501 mm.
Dimensions of Lift Jack 15T: 2350 mm x 4065 mm x 2065 mm.
Shell attachment beam
Shell attachment beam is installed on Lift Jack and allows for lifting and lowering during erection process. It is welded on one side of the tank shell and supported by Lifting Carriage on a Lift Jack on the other side.
In standard system is used in every course of the tank shell during tank erection (the tank is lifted/lowered). In advanced system (with Wheel Trolley), it is only utilized during the final stage of the construction – the final lowering.
Dismantling device for Lift Jacks including hydraulics system
The trolley is used to efficiently disassemble the lift jacks after the construction process is complete. It is inserted into the interior of the tank through the manhole, where it facilitates the disassembly of the lift jacks. The process is made easier with the use of a hydraulic system.
