Nordweld at StocExpo 2026 in Rotterdam – event summary 

On March 10–11, 2026, the Rotterdam Ahoy venue hosted another edition of StocExpo – one of the most important events for the tank storage industry, energy infrastructure, and liquid storage. 

The event brought together technology manufacturers, engineering companies, terminal operators, and specialists involved in the design and construction of steel storage tanks. StocExpo is also a platform for presenting new solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and process automation in the storage tank construction sector. 

During the event, Nordweld presented its steel storage tank construction technologies as well as solutions for safety and access in industrial installations offered within the TLC company. 

Steel storage tank construction technology by Nordweld 

At StocExpo 2026 we presented our steel tank construction technology, developed based on more than 35 years of experience in industrial projects around the world. At stand L23, visitors could also learn about TLC solutions for safety and access systems used in industrial installations. 

Our technology partner Imcar was also present at the event. Imcar is an Italian manufacturer of advanced plate rolling machines and automation solutions for the steel and tank construction industry. The cooperation between Nordweld and Imcar combines extensive experience in tank construction with modern solutions for plate forming and processing, supporting the efficiency of tank construction projects. 

Meetings with the tank storage industry 

Participation in StocExpo was an excellent opportunity for the Nordweld team to meet with industry partners, designers, and contractors involved in investments in the tank storage sector. Discussions held during the exhibition confirmed the growing interest in solutions that improve the efficiency of tank construction, automate processes, and enhance safety on construction sites. The event was also an opportunity to exchange experiences with representatives of companies operating in the oil & gas, chemical, energy, and fuel and chemical storage industries.
